History

  The Farm Rincão Bonito, property of  Sr. Euzébio, was acquired by Captain  Luiz da Costa Leite Falcão, who arrived in 1869, with the duty of expel the indians of the place. This Captain was the first writer and notary of the place, stimulating the arrive of the first villagers. In 11 June 1915, the village Rincão Bonito was turn " Peace District of Bonito", splitting up from the area of Miranda town, who has administratively subordinate, became so a town in 2 October 1948.
